The weather recently has really put me in the mood for spring. All I want to do lately is hang around outside doing nothing.

Spring Shopping Trip

All Saints/ Rag + Bone

I went out today with a few things in mind I wanted to get to update my spring wardrobe. Mainly I wanted some light wash boyfriend jeans (couldn't find in my size) and a washed out black t-shirt (found at All Saints on sale). I haven't even thought about warm weather footwear at this point even though I probably will have to have at least one pair of sandals for the summer. I'm just really into relaxed easy basics recently and not having everything be so tailored.

A New Year

Happy New Year everyone! No resolutions for me but I'm hoping for some new beginnings and positive changes for this year (hopefully starting with saving up for a vacation and finding a new apartment).

Holiday Party Ready

 I always have a hard time figuring out what to wear when the holidays come around since I normally dress pretty casually when I go out and I don't like the idea of buying event specific outfits. I usually try to find one super versatile party dress that will carry me though a few different situations.

This black + nude lacy looking mini dress is exactly what I had in mind. It's subtle but has a great texture that makes it more dimensional than the usual lbd. It also has nice elbow length sleeves (even though I have them hidden in the picture) for when you need to be a little more covered up.

I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season. I'm off to Florida in about a week and I can't wait!

Yes it's been a while and I know it's not even worth mentioning at this point since I so regularly abandon this blog for a month at a time. I blame it on the fact that I moved a few weeks ago and I'm still not even completely unpacked.

I went to The New Museum of Contemporary Art today. The weather was perfect for just wandering around outside and taking in a nice view of the city. One of my favorite ways to spend a Sunday.

p.s. It's hard to tell but yes I cut my hair.

Love at first sight

The first time I saw these jeans was at Bergdorf Goodman while I was shopping with my salesperson from work and I immediately knew I had to save up (and sell a few things) to get them. As much as I don't like the saying; I have to say that they are just so "me".

I bought this Theyskens' Theory cross strap messenger bag on ebay recently and I'm loving the design. I'd been wanting a lighter weight bag for summer and this one is classic but with just enough detail to make it interesting.
